FROM THE STARS TO MARS... HELLO!
I use any neopronouns, but he/she is alright. Do not use they/them for me.
more about... me!?
media interests?
the primary interest you'll see with me is your turn to die. secondary interests sort of cycle between ddlc, lonely wolf treat, and whatever the most recent thing i've gotten into is.
eventually, i'll add some links here for specifics pages; more interests, personal recs, stuff i'm planning to get into eventually, etc...
hobbies?
as you'll evidently tell by the site, i really enjoy writing a lot! additionally, digital art is fun... and coding... right now, i only know html & css, but eventually i will learn python. and then i'll be unstoppable!!!!
otherwise, i kind of just like trying whatever i can get my hands on and seeing if i like it. collecting things is also nice. :]
where are you most active?
i primarily use tumblr, my main being spacefreckle, however, that is also my yttd-centric blog. if you'd like art, primarily fandoms but occasionally ocs, you can check out steelminds on tumblr, as that's... my art blog!!
i'm steadily growing a little more active on twitter (scary) but i mostly keep to whoever appears on my timeline. it's sort of a mix of all of my interests. my priv is mutuals only, and even then i'm selective on who i let in.
as of right now, i have a cohost, but i don't use it. i plan to use it for oc-related things, worldbuilding for projects i'm making, that sort of thing. it's like an extension of this site, except slightly more casual!
are your commissions open?
as of now, yes! you can find my ko-fi here. i could currently really use the money, and i also just generally enjoy drawing people's characters. :] generally, comms should take no longer than 2 weeks, unless something serious comes up.
site stuff...
what's this site for?
for now, this site acts as a sort of "personal hub" for me; i never really know what to put in a carrd/strawpage/etc besides a name + pronouns... and i always get bored of making those fast.
so i decided, after one of my friends mentioned making a neocities page, in a fit of absolute insanity, i'd make a page myself. initially, this site was solely to host my fics on a site that wasn't ao3, but then i started putting OC profiles here, and then RP muses, and once i start making games, that will probably go here, too.
OTHERWISE, i think having my own little personal site is good for me. also, i really like customizing to my heart's content. and being able to say "HEY, I MADE A WEBSITE FROM SCRATCH!!" makes me super crazy happy. <3
credits/inspiration?
most notably, i used a lot of inspiration from nomnomnami's neocities page, which can probably be easily seen. i learned a lot of things about html from just seeing stuff on the website and going "what the hell, i can do that??" and figuring it out from there.
which leads me to other credits: w3schools and stackoverflow were my saviors during the making of this, but also my worst enemy—but that's more or less due to not knowing what things are called... it turns out, looking up "how to do weird little dropdown text thing html" isn't quite specific enough to bring up any results. (it was the summary/detail tags, for the record.)
even though (at the current point in time) i've only used like, two special fonts besides trebuchet ms & verdana, google fonts was sooo good to have on hand. additionally, credits to neocities for giving me a place to host this site!
i've coded this whole site in brackets, which has been nice to have the silly little live previews throughout coding. huge thank you to my friend who streamed coding a while back and told me about this thing. i would have lost my mind, otherwise. <3
that being said, i also want to credit some inspiration to all of my friends and their super cool strawpages & carrds... i'll never understand how people do it, but it always looks super pretty, and ultimately what inspired me to try my hand at html to make my own cool thing!
formatting issues?
...whoops. feel free to contact me on whatever site (preferrably tumblr/twt for now) to let me know, and i'll see when i can look at it. as of now, testing this in firefox, it looks fine - but i also tried the site on firefox in the library today, and it looked super fucked up. so i wouldn't be surprised if there ARE issues that i just magically did not know about.
free palestine (+ more).
if you are in a place where you can afford to donate some money, i beg that you consider doing such. unfortunately, while not every donation is completely verifiable, use your judgement wisely & find out what you can. additionally, archive evidence and archive the cultures. do not let anyone forget.
eventually, below will have some links to sites for organizations, as well as resources to learn about the culture and the genocides at hand.
